This course provides forensic nurses with foundational photography knowledge and skills necessary to produce high-quality evidentiary images. Participants will review exposure fundamentals (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance), injury documentation techniques, and legal considerations to ensure photographs withstand courtroom scrutiny. Course provides 1.5 CE upon completion.
Objectives:
- Explain basic photography principles (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance).
- Apply proper camera settings for forensic injury documentation.
- State correct orientation, midrange, and close-up photography techniques.
